Citizens of Nowhere [Film, 2024]
Thanks to the support of Hamilton’s City Enrichment Fund, we were able to produce “Citizens of Nowhere”, a film about MMORPG players in a dying virtual world. Exile’s Beyond [Web-Series, 2024]
Equal parts comedy, tragedy, Myst parody, and love-letter to Christopher Guest, Exile’s Beyond is perhaps my last hurrah as a writer/director. It’s a mockumentary web show set in the fringes of the gaming industry of 1997, and I think you’re going to love it.

Lost Memories [Short Documentary, 2016]
This was a documentary project for a film production class, and although I’m not known for doing real-life stories, I think this one turned out pretty good.
Voyeurism [Short film, 2016]
Of all my film school projects, this one was the best, and it’s not even close.
Bill Cafe [Web-series, 2009]
Here’s an oddity in the Powellfilm canon: a web show I made while I was in middle-school! This one is hosted on the “Dork Daily” YouTube channel (formerly “Numa Network”). There’s a long story to how this one was created, deleted, and ultimately rediscovered. But for now, here’s an early episode:
